Resource Considerations

RAM:

  • Vanilla servers: 2-4 GB usually sufficient
  • Modded servers: 4-8 GB+ recommended
  • Heavy mod packs: 8-16 GB

Storage:

  • Small worlds: 5-10 GB
  • Medium worlds: 10-25 GB
  • Large worlds with backups: 25+ GB

Players:

  • Casual server: Up to plan limit
  • Active server: Consider headroom for peak times

Tip: Start with a smaller plan and upgrade as needed. You won't lose any data when upgrading.

Upgrading Your Plan

You can upgrade at any time:

  1. Go to Subscription
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the new plan
  4. Pay the prorated difference

Prorated billing: You only pay the difference for the remaining time in your billing cycle.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Your server gets more resources right away.

Downgrading Your Plan

Downgrading is also possible:

  1. Go to Subscription
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select the lower plan
  4. Confirm the change

Important: Downgrading takes effect at your next billing date. Ensure your server can run with reduced resources.

Before downgrading, verify your storage usage fits the new plan limit.
