Create Your First Server
This guide walks you through the server creation wizard to get your game server up and running.
Make sure you have a Plex Host account before starting.
The Server Creation Wizard
Select Your Game
Choose the game you want to host from our supported games list. Each game shows:
- Game name and icon - Easily identify your game
- Popular tags - See what makes each game special
- Available configurations - Different server types (e.g., Vanilla, Modded)
Click on your chosen game to continue.
Choose a Plan
Select the plan that fits your needs. Plans differ by:

Not sure which plan to choose? Start with a smaller plan - you can always upgrade later without losing data.
Add-ons (Optional)
You can enhance your server with add-ons:
- Extra RAM - Add more memory for better performance
- Extra Storage - More space for worlds, mods, and backups
- Premium Support - Priority support response times
Select Your Location
Choose where your server will be hosted. For the best experience:
- Select the closest region to where most players are located
- Lower ping = better gameplay - We show estimated latency for each location
Available Regions:
- North America (US East, US West)
- Europe (UK, Germany, France)
- Asia Pacific (Singapore, Australia)
- South America (Brazil)
Auto-select: We can automatically choose the best location based on your connection. Just click "Auto-select best location".
Choose Billing Frequency
Select how often you'd like to be billed:

The longer you commit, the more you save!
Apply Discount Code (Optional)
Have a discount code? Enter it in the promo code field to apply your discount.
Discounts are applied to your first billing cycle. You'll see the updated price before checkout.
Complete Checkout
Review your order summary:
- Server configuration
- Selected plan and add-ons
- Billing frequency
- Total price
Payment Methods:
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Regional payment methods (varies by location)
Click Complete Purchase to proceed.
Your card will be charged immediately. Subscription renewals are automatic unless cancelled.
After Purchase
Once your purchase is complete, you'll be taken to the server configuration page. See Initial Configuration for next steps.
Troubleshooting
Payment Failed
If your payment doesn't go through:
- Check your card details - Ensure the card number, expiry, and CVV are correct
- Check your balance - Make sure you have sufficient funds
- Contact your bank - Some banks block international transactions
- Try a different card - If the issue persists, use an alternative payment method
Can't Find Your Game
Not all games are available in all regions. If you don't see your game:
- Check if the game is supported in your selected region
- Contact support for game availability updates
- Request a new game through our feedback form
