Create Your Account
Creating a Plex Host account is quick and easy. Choose your preferred sign-up method below.
Sign Up Methods
Sign Up with Email
Go to Sign Up Page
Visit host.plex.gg/signup or click the Sign Up button on the homepage.
Enter Your Details
Fill in the registration form:
- Email address - Use an email you have access to
- Password - Must be at least 8 characters
Verify Your Email
Check your inbox for a verification email from Plex Host. Click the verification link to activate your account.
Can't find the email? Check your spam folder or request a new verification email.
Complete Your Profile
Once verified, you'll be prompted to complete your profile with your name and preferences.
Sign Up with Google
Click "Continue with Google"
On the sign-up page, click the Continue with Google button.
Choose Your Google Account
Select the Google account you want to use for Plex Host.
Grant Permissions
Allow Plex Host to access your basic profile information (name and email).
You're Done!
Your account is automatically created and verified. You'll be redirected to your dashboard.
Sign Up with Discord
Click "Continue with Discord"
On the sign-up page, click the Continue with Discord button.
Authorize Plex Host
You'll be redirected to Discord. Click Authorize to allow Plex Host to access your basic profile.
You're Done!
Your account is automatically created using your Discord email. You'll be redirected to your dashboard.
Password Requirements
If you choose email/password sign-up, your password must:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- We recommend using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
- Avoid using common passwords or personal information
Forgot Password?
If you forget your password:
- Go to the login page
- Click Forgot Password?
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a password reset link
- Click the link and create a new password
Password reset links expire after 24 hours. If your link has expired, request a new one.
Account Security Tips
- Use a unique password - Don't reuse passwords from other sites
- Enable two-factor authentication - Add an extra layer of security (coming soon)
- Keep your email secure - Your email is used for password recovery
